Tim Berners Lee is the director of the World Wide Web and creator of Computer language named HTML born on 8 June 1955 In England. He is the son of Conway Berners-Lee & his wife Mary Lee Woods. They have three siblings. His parents worked on the first commercially-built computer.

Personal Life:

Education:

He has received his primary education from Sheen Mount Primary School. After moving to London, He enters into London’s independent Emanuel School where he studied from 1969 to 1973. Later He enrolled at The Queen’s College of the University of Oxford in 1973 and graduated in 1976 with a first-class degree in physics.

Career:

As a physics student at Oxford, Berners-Lee continuous to tinker with electronic devices. In his extra time, he painstakingly soldered collectively his own computer terminal from a discarded calculator, broken television set and a car battery. His unauthorized use of the nuclear physics laboratory’s workstation led to his being barred from the system. He had previously begun devising his own computer languages, and after graduating with a degree in physics in 1976, he starts his services as a computer programmer in immediate demand.

He has been selected as an engineer at the telecommunications company, Plessey in Poole later than completing his studies. He stopped up there for two years, working on distributed transaction systems, message relay, & bar code technology. In 1978, He had missing Plessey and joined D. G. Nash Ltd. In that job, He had written typesetting software used for intelligent printers and a multitasking operating system. In the overdue 1970s, He had begun work as an independent consultant and worked for several companies, including CERN where he worked from June to December 1980 as a consultant software engineer. He has taken place working at John Poole’s Image Computer Systems, Ltd. in 1981. Intended for the next three years, he worked on the company’s technical plane which enabled him to gain experience in computer networking. In 1989, he writes a proposal for a more efficient communication system within the association which eventually led to the conceptualization of the World Wide Web an information sharing system that might be implemented throughout the world. He recognized the World Wide Web Consortium W3C at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Laboratory used for Computer Science in 1994. The W3C decided that its technologies should be royalty-free so that anyone could assume them. He has become a professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Southampton, UK, in December 2004. Around he worked on the Semantic Web.
